Trust is the foundation of public health, shaping the well-being of individuals, communities, and the world. When built, restored, or reimagined together, trust has the power to transform health systems and the relationships within them. The LIGHT Festival assembles everyone in the field and all members of the public—artists, poets, practitioners, storytellers, and the like—who have an interest in communicating public health information in a way that is meaningful and resonates with all. This event aids in bridging the divide between public health researchers and the public by creating opportunities to connect with one another and explore the power of creative expression–art, letters, stories, and poetry–in building and restoring trust.
Register for the 4th Annual LIGHT Festival on June 19, 2025, which will foster and enrich conversations centered on restoring trust in public health. We welcome you to explore creativity in guided workshop sessions, learn from diverse arts and creative voices working to restore trust in health systems and practices, and meet the LIGHT finalists!
Location: Delmar DivINe, 5501 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112 and Zoom
