LIGHT Creativity in Public Health Summer Camp | June 2 – 6, 2025

June 2, 2025
9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The LIGHT Creativity in Public Health Summer Camp is a 5-day program created to engage students entering 5th – 8th grade in the arts, creative writing, and public health through visual art, letter writing, poetry, and storytelling. We will encourage and empower young learners to grow more confident in both their artistic and creative writing skills, using their imagination and lived experiences as inspiration.

Students will learn the importance and power of using creativity in science and health and will demonstrate this through their own written and artistic pieces that will be featured in LIGHT Magazine. We hope these 5 days are transformative, sparking a lasting passion for creative expression in our students long after they leave us.

Cost: $100.00

Location: WashU Danforth Campus | Exact location to be shared with registrants

We are pleased to share that full scholarships are available to cover the cost of the program. This ensures that cost is not a barrier for any student who wishes to participate. For more information on how to apply for a scholarship, please contact Alexis Engelhart at alexise@wustl.edu.
